Raptor is semi-auto 12 ga. I purchased the semi-auto because of my arthritis. Gun has less kick than my other shotguns. Great shotgun

          Comments about TriStar Raptor Shotgun:

Bought the Tristar Raptor on a whim, wanted a inexpensive semi-auto for my son. Yes I could have found a used remington 1100 or 11-87, but I allready own three 1100s and one 11-87 and I wanted to try something different. The Mossberg 930 was $200 dollars more, and I considered it but, when I held the raptor it felt great. The Raptor was extremly oily in the box, no problem, I like to strip down my new firearms anyway. cleaned and reoiled it, and took it outside, and loaded some federal target loads, I had a couple of stovepipes, but after a couple more rounds the failures stopped. The box did say you might have to shoot some high power loads through it to break it in. I registered my warranty online, and had some questions for service and they were all answered quick, great customer service, sent me an updated gas piston at no charge. overhaul as of right now Im happy with my choice in TRISTAR, we will see with more rounds
