Comments about Tri-Tronics Sport Junior G3 Dog Trainer:
This was recommended to us by our professional trainer. We decided to get the Junior version because .25 mile is enough range for us. We have learned to use the collar as a communication device with the puppy. It is similar to giving him a nudge rather than cause pain. We praise him a lot so he has more confidence in his good behavior. Our puppy responds very well to the collar which makes it much easier to train him. The only con I see is that his long hair gets in the way of the buckle and loops on the collar so it takes longer to put it on with him wiggling around. I wish it came with a clip-on collar.
