Designed after the performance-proven Vortek muzzleloader, the Vortek pistol will add a new dimension of shooting for the blackpowder enthusiast. Taking on key features of the rifle, the heart and soul of the Vortek Pistol is the break-open action with the Accelerator breech plug. The pistol breaks open just like a rifle and the Accelerator breech plug removes by hand in 3 easy turns - no tools required. This 1-piece stainless steel breech plug also allows you to fire both loose and pelletized powder. The Vortek Pistol has a 13" ultralight tapered barrel coated in premium CeraKote finish which is 50 times stronger than stainless steel when protecting against corrosive black powder, cleaning chemicals, and weather. The ultralight barrel and LT-1 alloy frame keep this pistol light at 3.25 lbs. Other features include a fast speed load system, Soft Touch camo stocks, a 1:28" twist, and solid aluminum ramrod. Max charge: 70 grains.
