This is a bleaching agent for aluminum as it's hydrochloric and sulfuric acids. It turns your pontoons white and dull. You'll then need to polish to restore some gloss. Don't use on relatively new pontoons and check your manufacturer recommendations. This is tough stuff, don't breathe it or get it on yourself.

I purchased my used pontoon this year. When I took it home I started applying some TLC the pontoons were bad. I thought I will never get those clean. Well little did I know I started looking around for product that would clean the pontoons up at least a little. WOW !!!! Totally impressed I never thought this product would do so well. The pontoons came out VERY GOOD in matter of fact! Just like new. I'm very impressed what a difference this product made and it was easy. Thank you Overton's

Q:
how far will one gallon go? Can it clean 2 pontoons as well as the outboard?Asked on 2/10/2012 by Randy from Arroyo Grande, CA1 answer

A:
For strong use and heavy bleaching, dilute 2 parts water to 1 part product. Think of it more like a bleaching agent than mere cleaner. A quart of product will make up to a gallon of cleaner ( 4 parts water to 1 part product) for lighter cleaning. So a gallon of product can go a long way. Start easy and never use full strength. It might do two pontoons depending on how stained and if you do the entire pontoon (visible parts and not). Don't use on your outboard, and be very careful with this product. Make sure your manufacturer doesn't void your warranty as this is acid. Rinse everything off that it touches. Don't breathe it or get it in your eyes or on your skin. It's very strong stuff.Answered on 8/17/2012 by John from Central Florida
