        Plan ahead. I had to run out and buy about 6 buffer pads, which I found not enough. I also bought a new buffer w/high rotation (which I could have had a better one). Time is a killer, you need a lot of it - depending on how meticulous you get with the finish.
        The product and end result can be great, I was just not aware of the prep, the investment of time and all products needed until I got into it and asked a friend (who laughed at me and my aggrivation with the process, oxidation mess etc). The finish looked great on the one toon I spent 2 days on (just the outside). The other I did much quicker and less time result. Then there is yet another sealant step! This is not a simple weekend job the first time round. Expect to invest a hard week and you'll love the result. There should be video links to these products though to assist in preparation (which could add to the sale), process and result.

              Instructions on product package warn not to use on anodized aluminum. This serious restriction should be noted in the description of product. It ruins the finish on anodized aluminum such as bimini cover metal supports and pontoons. I would not have bought product if the warning was made clear in web page description.

                If you want your pontoon tubes to look like new, then this is the product for you. Be sure to clean tubes first then plan to spend 2 to 4 hours polishing them,I used a power drill w/pad. My boat is 24ft. and I used 2 jars of polish.

                  After using Toon Brite cleaner on old pontoon aluminum, we applied this aluminum restorer/polish, and I was really surprised at how nicely it shined up the toons. It works great. We used it with a buffer and are very happy with the results.
