Comments about Tool Logic SL 3 Fire With Magnesium Fire Starter:

My initial concerns were allayed when I examined this knife. I bought it as an emergency backup to be worn on a neck lanyard and worried that the firesteel might fall out because the belt clip holds the knife upright rather than upside down. That will never happen. The handle of the fire steel is hex-shaped and two round rubber rings of slightly greater diameter are inset into the handle to secure the unit in place and make a water tight seal. And sharp! As a razor - and I do mean RAZOR right out of the box. Is thin and light weight and should be perfect for the purpose I intend. Made in China but what isn't these days!

Comments about Tool Logic SL 3 Fire With Magnesium Fire Starter:

Bought this knife and then returned it the next day. The blade is extremely sharp and doesn't lock securely in place. I ended up cutting my thumb when the blade closed on it while trying to use the flint steel. Had it been better constructed, it would have been a handy tool.
