Designed to accommodate the largest possible variety of guns, this is the best tool you could own for working on your firearms. Configures to handle bolt-action rifles, break-open shotguns, AR-15s, and handguns. A center aluminum channel allows you to move individual components to the ideal position for whatever firearm you are working on. Then adjust each component for perfect position and secure support. Two adjustable offset clamps at the rear base put a tight grip on a wide range of buttstock configurations, and the front support is adjustable for different heights.

            So far does what it is suppose to do. I have not had long enough to "put it through its paces" but seems like it will hold up fine as long as you don't abuse it. Can be mounted in place on a bench, I haven't felt the need to mount it down so far.

                  Yes it can, it works for mounting scopes on rifles and pistols. There are enough adjustments to fit most pistols, rifles and shotguns. It will hold them firm enough and is heavy enough for bore sighting. Just don't try to use it as a shooting rest or vice. Its not heavy duty enough for that function.
