Comments about Rivers Edge Treestands Timbershot Extreme 17' Ladder Stand:

If the seat to floor was adjustable also the post on one side be longer so when you swing the shooting rail out of the way it won't completely remove from stand. It is a great stand and all ready paid for it self with deer meat. Thanks Jim.

Comments about Rivers Edge Treestands Timbershot Extreme 17' Ladder Stand:

Mainly being a bowhunter, the flip-up seat allows me to lean against the tree or to better hide my outline with the tree. The large standing platform gives me a more secure feeling and is a real plus for late season hunting while wearing bigger boots or for positioning myself for the shot while gun hunting.

            • A:

fairly heavy for 1 person to carry but I was able to carry one of mine solo for about 400yds with only stopping once to reposition on my shoulders. 2 people carrying this stand isn't a problem at all.

I dont know that exact size but I'm able to stand at a pretty wide stance and have plenty of room from side to side. BTW i'm 6'0" 1 & 190lbs if this helps at all! Perfect for the bow hunter!
