Comments about Timberland Men's Chocorua Trail Ion-Mask Hiking Boot:
I have had a pair of these boots for over a year now. I think they are great. I wear them out and about in the winter and they keep my feet warm and dry. I also use them for snowshoeing. They work great for that too.

Comments about Timberland Men's Chocorua Trail Ion-Mask Hiking Boot:
I use these for work and disc golf. They gave me ankle support and protection and are water resistant when I work around sprinklers.
I walk in mud and rocks on the disc golf course and so far the boots have worked well. I pair them with Gander Mountain Hiking socks which also help keep my feet dry

Comments about Timberland Men's Chocorua Trail Ion-Mask Hiking Boot:
I bought these to work in , but I have to have a boots that ensures me to stay dry in wet weather, small puddles of water, and splashing around. If Timberland wants me to trust them and feel prepared , then I need to know they will perform. I am unsure as to what I have . Is it waterproof like a Goretex boot or not. Timberland has a poor website that does not give me information on my boot. I probably would not buy this brand again unless I were to hear from them, and that will not happen.

Comments about Timberland Men's Chocorua Trail Ion-Mask Hiking Boot:
I bought these boots to use on a week-long trip this summer, since my old boots were no longer up to the task. I wore them around for a bit to make sure they were broken in. On the trail, traction and ankle support could have been better, but I've had far worse and they were (fortunatley) water resistant.
However, it's what happened afterward that makes it impossible to recommend. The soles quickly wore down, until a piece tore loose when I was walking home from work. This was a month and a half after I purchased them. One week of hiking and walking to work a couple days a week had done them in.
I've had good experiences with the Timberland brand before, but this makes me doubt if they're a good buy anymore. If I wanted a boot that'll last less than two months, there are less expensive options.
