Product Description
The Tikka T3 offers all the features and benefits of the popular Whitetail series, plus a new look. At the heart of the T3 is the hyper-accurate cold hammer-forged barrel, sturdily anchored to a silky smooth action. The trigger is crisp and positive and is easily adjustable for weight of pull (2-4 lbs). Like other T3s, they're guaranteed to put three shots inside an inch at 100 yards. Holds 3 rounds of .270 Winchester ammunition. Blued barrel on a black synthetic stock. |

Comments about Tikka T3 Lite Centerfire Rifle:
I've shot several great rifles and I firmly believe that Tikka is the most accurate >$1000 rifle there is. If I'm bench shooting with a sled, I consistently get .5" groups. It's also so lightweight that it's easy to carry around all day long.
The bad news is that it's so light, that you'll feel like your shooting a much bigger gun. My Tikka .270 Win kicks harder than my Weatherby .300. While no one notices recoil while hunting, range time can get unpleasant pretty quick.
Also, it's really picky about ammo. I spent a lot of money on ammo before figuring out that my particular Tikka T3 only likes Federal and Hornady (but not the Hornady Superformance line). Obviously if you load your own you'll be just fine but if you're like me and shoot factory stuff, expect to see huge performance differences in different ammo that you wouldn't necessarily see in something like a Remington 700.

Comments about Tikka T3 Lite Centerfire Rifle:
I purchased this rifle in .223 cal about a month ago because of a coyote problem. I topped it with a Leupold 3X9 and took it to the range to sight in and test some different types of ammo. With good quality ammo I had no trouble getting 5 round groups measuring 1 inch or less. The rifle is light, the bolt is smooth, and the trigger crisp. As luck would have it, I fell pretty hard my 4th time out hunting coyotes and landed on the rifle. No damage, in fact it still held a dead-on zero. So far I have killed 5 coyotes at ranges from 15 to 250 yards. This is quality hardware at a very reasonable price.
