Comments about Thompson/Center Arms Thompson/Center Venture Predator Centerfire Rifle:

Bought this in .308 for multiple game use. Sighted it with a Bushnell Trophy XLT DOA scope. 3 shots and it was in the 10! Got the gun so accurate that at 600 yards it could hit a half dollar when benched! Great construction and very light. Shot a coyote at 278 and another at 253 with Dead On Accuracy! Hate the mag though. Thought it was going to fall apart on me one day.

Comments about Thompson/Center Arms Thompson/Center Venture Predator Centerfire Rifle:

I decided to give Thompson Center a shot even though previous versions of the Venture had been recalled. My new venture, not a part of the recall, has machining marks in the chamber that were also transferred onto fired cases. This make it clear there is still no quality control at Thompson Center. How can a company use a chipped reamer cut the chambers of their rifles and let that product out the door? These machining marks cut into the fired cases and made it nearly impossible to eject the spent case and required returning the Venture to Gander/Thompson Center for repairs. Don't buy!!!!

Comments about Thompson/Center Arms Thompson/Center Venture Predator Centerfire Rifle:

I have this rifle in 308 win and shot both my buck and doe with it this year. I love how light this gun is and the recoil pad is great. It actually feels like I'm shooting a 243. I topped it with a leupold vx 1 and the accuracy is exellent. Weather resistant camo finish is as pleasing to the eye as it is functional. Very happy with this rifle.
