Very good stuff. I can shoot time and time again WITHOUT having to clean my barrel every time. Each load is as easy as the previous load, something that is very beneficial and nice to be able to do. This also insures accuracy by having a consistent loading friction.
The only Con I have against this stuff, is the ability to squeeze it out of the tube on colder days. If it gets cold, it is NOT coming out of the tube without some good muscle and elbow grease.

I love this stuff. In my opinion Bore Butter is the best cleaner and lubracant that you can buy. I use this stuff in the bores of all my Shot Guns, Rifles and Muzzle Loaders. Not only does it protect the bores from rusting, it also makes clean up a breeze after the next time you go shooting. I also wipe down all my guns with Bore Butter which I feel it better protects them from the elements. Also, Bore Butter doesn't have that harsh chemical smell that most cleaners and lubracants have. I've been using Bore Butter for the last 12 years, and I will never change.

I have used bore butter for thirty years.I feel that there is no product better for the job of seasoning a muzzle loading,in-line rifle,or black powder pistol.
