    I bought this for my husband . We hunt swampy areas where mosquitoes/bugs are thick. After the thermacell gets turned on... the mosquitoes are gone.Then, you can concentrate on hunting and not swatting bugs away!! The refill lasts several outtings!!We now use the thermacell on family camping and for backyard use!! Just wish you could have it on and be able to carry in pouch, you must set it on a flat service to use .So for still hunts its excellent. We Love it!!

      Mainly we use this repellent when we are using our pool & barbeque area. Miami during the summer especially after rains is a haven for mosquitos. This stuff just keeps them away from the area we are inhabiting in a very easy and convenient way

        I hunt early season archery in a river bottom where the bugs are unbearable without the Thermacell. With the Thermacell, the bugs are no longer a problem and it does not spook the deer. I would definately recommend it to anyone that needs something to keep the bugs away.

              I have used Thermacell for years and love the product. It does what it is supposed to do. I would like to see Thermacell offer the mosquito pads separately (the propane lasts a long time) or develop a chemical that you could put on the pads you already have after they have depleted their repellent. I would buy them also. Gander Mountain offers the best deal and their free shipping usually closes the deal in all purchases.
