Product Description
teva With full coverage for maximum protection, the Omnium Leather Hiking Shoe provides excellent fit and comfort. It may look like a casual leather sandal, but it's built to perform. The Omnium Leather is great for travel, light-duty off-road adventures, and will hold well in amphibious environments. This durable hiker features a waterproof, stain-resistant full-grain nubuck leather upper; a polyurethane/EVA Shoc Pad in the heel cup for shock absorption; integrated toe protection to keep feet safe in rugged terrain; multiple openings in the upper to allow water to drain freely; and a Spider Original nonmarking rubber outsole for uncompromising grip in wet environments. ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED, HAPPY with these shoes. I have had sever pain with Plantar Fasciitis for 20 years or more. I purchased a pair of TEVA sandles on sale at a department store. I was delighted with the comfort of them, but I didn't take time to pay it close attention. As the years went on the Plantar Fasciitis got WORSE. In 2008 I went online at TEVA.com & purchased the Omnium Leather by Teva. When they came, I put them on & HATED TO TAKE THEM OFF to go to bed. I couldn't believe the relief with the Plantar Fasciitis. I did have to wear socks with them for a while until I got my feet accustom to going without them. However, now I occasionally wear socks with them to match my outfit. (I'm 66 yrs young, & now I wear shoes for COMFORT not STYLE ~~ LOL). Last winter I even wore thicker socks with them for warmth.

I have since purchased 2 other pair of TEVA shoes & I am just as HAPPY, SATISFIED, DELIGHTED... with them!

Very often when I just take a step, or I might just be standing... I lift up a praise, "Thank You God for the persons who invented these TEVA shoes." & this IS NOT A JOKE, for I litterly do... do this! God Bless you all at TEVA. AMEN

I purchased a pair of Teva men's Omnium Leather sandals last year. I am EXTREMELY disappointed! The sandals have failed in four (4) locations and are failing in a fifth. The attached pictures show the failures:
1. Right sandal heel on right side came unglued within three (3) months of purchase. I glued the rubber back in place thinking that the problem was just an aberration. Then the following occurred.
2. Right sandal sole on right side came unglued.
3. Right sandal sole on left side came unglued from the left side all the way through to the right side.
4. Right sandal heel on left side is coming unglued.
5. Left sandal sole on inside has come unglued.

I do not wear shoes hard and have done nothing to cause the failures pictured. It is obvious that if I continue to wear these sandals, they will fail completely and I could injure myself while walking, climbing stairs, etc.

Comments about Teva Mens Omnium Leather Hiking Shoe:

These are excellent shoes for the outdoors. I take mine camping because leaving them unsnapped makes getting them and off to in the tent a breeze. TEVA says you shouldn't use the Ominium Leather in the water, but I've taken them kayaking and to creek. They dry and drain very quickly and the leather is still in good shape despite numerous dousings and submersions. They're very comfortable for hiking too as I found out on a recent camping trip when I did an impromptu hike around the lake. I thought I might get blisters, but these shoes were great.

My one complaint about them (and my wife's too) is that the bottoms of your feet will sweat and begin to smell, but since I can't smell very well, it doesn't bother me too much.

Get a pair and I know you will be satisfied

Comments about Teva Mens Omnium Leather Hiking Shoe:

With consumer products designed for mass appeal, it isn't often that a company provides exactly what you want. Teva's variety is sufficient to serve a variety of tastes, but they hit the mark for me with the Omnium Leathers. I have found them to be durable, comfortable, and stylish. They are great to wear with jeans, shorts, or even kaki's if you want a casual look. The four-way custom adjustments mean they fit my foot perfectly and I think that would be the case with most people. The solid snap buckle makes for extremely easy on and off. If I get them dirty, a quick spray with the hose and no one ever knew the difference. One of best shoes I've ever owned. I've thought about buying a dozen in case Teva ever stopped making them, but since the pair I've had for over a year shows no wear, "one" extra pair may last my whole life.

Walked all over China in them, live in Palm Beach, Florida excellent for the beach and everyday shoes! I love this sandals! I had one pair that the glue came off for the bottom rubber BUT had them for years! On my second pair which I had for four years now, going to replace them since I got paint all over them. I hope the never stop making this style!
