      I ordered this ladder because it is difficult for me to get back up into the boat after swimming because of arthitis in my knees and the inability to bend enought to reach the small attached ladder. This is so strong and easy to use. It has made swimming a great deal of fun again...Extremely easy to use.

        Ladder is very heavy duty. Bought the 3 step, but the 2 step would have been a little lighter. Drilled & switched legs to upper step to make it work on a old Boston Whaler.

              I have a 20' Alumaweld fishing boat and purchased the Gunwale Hook Ladder so I could get back into my boat if I fell out, as I fish alone most of the time. I removed the two folding 3" standoffs with rubber crutch tips and replaced them with 8" aluminum extensions, so when deployed the standoffs rest aganist the hull of my boat and the ladder is set at a 90 degree (vertical) position, making it easier to climb. This simple modification made my fishing trips a lot safer.
