I have a 1984 Wellcraft v20 w/ a 1999 mercury o/b 135 optimax was wondering if the lido 4 gauge set would work for me I have recently rebuilt the dash and will replace all the gauges also what type of sending unit will i need because my current gauges do not have a tach thanks

A couple of questions for you regarding the Lido line from Teleflex...

1st: Is the Tach compatible with a 20 Pole alternator... if not already compatible, is there anything Teleflex can do to adjust for compatibility?

2nd: Is the Lido series Hobbs back-lit?

3rd (and last): For the panel - I will have the need for 2 voltmeters, 2 fuel guages, Power Head Temp, Engine Trim, Tachometer, Speedometer (Pitot Type), and Water Pressure.

Is there a way to get a package price on the complete gauge set I will need?

I am equipped with a 1984 model 125 HP Chrysler Force... and to summarize the solutions I am trying to make work -
(1) Measure and Monitor Water Pressure from the cooling system
(2) Measure and Monitor Power Head Temp.... in lieu of the factory installed High-Temp "Buzzer"
(3) Measure and Monitor Engine Trim Setting

  If you have a 20 pole alternator, then none of the tachometers that we STOCK will work for that engine. Teleflex does have tachs that will work, that we will have to special order for you from teleflex as not many places stock them. The gauges we stock will not have an adjustment for the 20 pole alts, but there is an adjustment for all other alts. It is illuminated gauge for dim lighting. We can not make up special gauge sets, we can only sell them as they are pre-packaged by teleflex, and if you need a 20 pole tach you will not get it as part of the gauge sets we offer, because it is less common. You could buy the gauge set and return the tach for refund if you wanted. please call a technician for more info....running out of characters for this platform. 1-888-683-7866

I'm interested in purchasing the Lido 4 Gauge Set. Beforehand I'm concerned about removing the existing gauges to install the new Lido set. Is the new set standard size? How do I confirm the dash panel cut outs are the correct size for the new Lido gauges?

  Rob, it's as simple as measuring. The 2 larger gauges will need a 3-3/8" hole while the 2 smaller gauges will need a 2-18" hole. Gauge sizes are pretty standard, so if you measure anything close to this, it will work. Remeber if you measure from the top, the bezel is larger than the hole. I would estimate 1/4" all the way around. So, if you measure anything close to 3-7/8 from the top side, then these are the correct gauges for you.
