With its unparalleled highly digestible protein, White Clover has long been a part of trophy whitetail management throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. The addition of Chicory boosts the overall production and growing season and provides plant diversity. Monster Mix withstands heavy browsing pressure, while providing antler-building protein levels over 30% and even higher levels of beneficial phosphorus. In addition, Chicory provides tannins that benefit the rumen of deer and elk. Monster Mix lasts for 2 to 5 years and grows throughout most of the year. Best of all, Monster Mix includes Yellow Jacket seed coating, containing moisture-retaining Zeba, for a quicker, healthier food plot. 4-1/2-lb. bag plants 1/2 acre.

        I tried this monster mix two timnes. I put down some Roundup. Two weeks later I disked about 1/2 acre. Using Delta ag, I seeded as recommended. Nothing came up, so I waited until September and did the same as above. This time I got it to come up about 1/2 inch. About a week later, I went back and everything was dead. It is not drought tolerant at all.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          We roto-tilled the plots, made 9 food sites in 100 acres. I believe Tecomate seeds are quality, and fresh seeds that germinate and provide high percentage of protein in the forage leaves and stems.

              test your soil for best result. first time I planted this I just tilled a spot, seeded, and took a light rake to the seed. I still have product comming up and its going on 4th year. 2nd food plot needed lime, and has very wet soil and now is just starting to sprout, looks like the seed is taking very well again. Not bad for east central MN.
