Comments about Taurus® Model 92 Handgun:
This is a great handgun. I was very impressed by how accurate this gun was. It is a great gun to own. It is just as good as a Beretta. If you are thinking about buying this guy, buy it. You would be very happy with it like me.

Comments about Taurus® Model 92 Handgun:
I really like the gun great balance shoots very very accurate.it is a full size gun and with the magazine holding 17 rds it is heavy,so I would not use this gun for my carry gun,it weighs 34oz.
I have a taurus Pt 140 pro that holds 10 rds and weighs 18.7oz,but if you want a home protection gun that is so easy to shoot acurate and it does that very very good!and taurus gives you 2 magazines plus with a lifetime warranty you just cant beat the price and high performance of this gun.

Comments about Taurus® Model 92 Handgun:
The fit and finish is good. After more then a thousand rounds through this gun, absolutely zero malfunctions. I prefer the Taurus safety position over the Beretta. Tight groupings. Pleasure to shoot. I highly recommend this weapon.

Comments about Taurus® Model 92 Handgun:
I was on the fence for a while between this gun and the Beretta 92, The Taurus won. I got it for around $200 cheaper than the Beretta and I find that it is a smoother gun to shoot. The ergonomics are very good and it is just a comfortable gun to use. I find that it is easy to carry concealed as well (with the right holster). The only drawback was the finish. It got marred very easily so I sanded all of the blue finish off of the slide & barrel then buffed both to a mirror finish. Looks much better know. A very solid and good performing firearm

Comments about Taurus® Model 92 Handgun:
The gun was my first handgun. I have fired many others such as a .45, .38 special, and a 9mm smith and wesson. It dosent have alot of recoil like the smith and wesson did and holds alot of bullets. I would definatly prefer this gun and reccomend it. I love it!!!

Comments about Taurus® Model 92 Handgun:
I've had my Taurus PT92 for over a year now, put probably four hundred rounds through it and ZERO problems. I carry it every day for protection and I trust my life to this weapon. I prefer it over the Beratta model for the increased capacity, the decocker lever, the placement of the safety and the accessory rail that the Beretta model 92/96 does not have. It's a beautiful design and Pachmayr makes a finger groove grip for it that I absolutely love. The only thing I've noticed is that once in a while it tends to eject the brass straight back at me rather than off to the right. Not a big deal, that's why you wear glasses when you go shooting!

Comments about Taurus® Model 92 Handgun:

I JUST PURCHASED THIS HAND GUN FROM GANDER MOUNTAIN AND IT CAME WITH 2 17 RD MAG'S AND NO CASE JUST A CRDBOARD BOXAnswered on 1/27/2010 by NEW OWNER from FLA:
taurus usually gives two mags and a plastic case and cleaning rod with there guns, and a lifetime warranty. these guns are amazing, based on the beretta m9 ( used as military side arm since mid 80s) taurus bought the factory that bulit these guns for beretta and there tools and blue prints to make the exact smae gun for less however they also made it better with a decocker so you can carry one in the whole hammer down and saftey on. the gun will act as a double action for the first shot then to single for the rest. better gun to me than the xd and a uncle mikes holster is maybe 30 bucks. wotks cheaper that the xd and a better gunAnswered on 1/28/2010 by raymond oxx from vermilion, oh
Q:
I was wondering if beretta 92/M9 magazines will work in the Taurus PT92. I have an opportunity to purchase a few beretta M9 magazines at an unbelievable price but i'm not sure if they will work in my Taurus. Any help will be greatly appreciated.Asked on 1/6/2010 by Greg from PA2 answers
A:
I don't think the Beretta mags will work with the Taurus . . . Honestly, I've never tried them but I wouldn't chance it . . . If you're looking for a good prices on Taurus magazines try copesdistributing.com . . . They have great prices on National Magazine and Mec Gar magazines and they function every bit as reliably as the factory mags!Answered on 1/29/2010 by Kellen from Pittsburgh, PAA:
yes, but you have to alter them some what. look it up on you tube ...there has got to be a video on itAnswered on 2/25/2010 by blowhard from pittsburgh ,pa
