Comments about Taurus PT-22 Polymer Handgun:
Great little gun. I use this as my CCW when I travel. I've ran about 300 rounds thru this pistol & it shoots very accurate within 20 yards.
The only "Con" that I have found, The magazine holds 8 rounds. When I would load all 8, I'd get an occasional jam. Started loading 7 in the Mag and 0 problems.
Very easy to breakdown and clean.

Comments about Taurus PT-22 Polymer Handgun:
I saw this little Taurus PT-22 at my local Gander Mountain store and had to add it to my collection as a last ditch backup gun for emergencies. My friend call it a belly-gun.
The fact that it is small and extremely concealable was what I was looking for. What I wasn't expecting was the accuracy I got out of this little wonder. Granted I'm a very skilled shooter, but I was hitting 3 inch bulls-eyes with this at the 10 yard line on the range and decided to take it out to the 50-yard line for a laugh...and I was shocked that it still hit them all in the chest area of a man-size silohuette target all the way back at the berm of our pistol range! For a one inch barrel this thing rocks! There is no recoil, so where you point it is where it hits.
The PT-22 holds 8 plus 1 in the pipe. The magazine will actually hold 9, but the gun will eject the magazine if you try to insert it with 9 rounds in it. As an added safety, the PT-22 will not fire without the magazine inserted, just like my Sig Sauer Mosquito. It also has a thumb safety on the upper left at the rear of the slide.
Other friends on the range thought it was a lot heavier caliber because of the short barrel making the gun seem louder. Absolutely a blast to shoot! I call it the Mini-me. ;)

Comments about Taurus PT-22 Polymer Handgun:
Shoots well and so far has handled 4 brands of ammo with no issues except a couple duds with the cheap bulk ammo but that isn't the gun's fault. I bought this on sale and I'm surprised how much I like it. I like my 40 and 45 but I don't like the cost of ammo. Great little gun for people with big hands.
