Comments about Taurus® Model 22 Handgun:

This is a verry good little gun it fits in blue jeans pocketes jacket or even in sweat pants pockets. I use it as a conceal & carry gun or a back up. It is also easy to field - strip it if you get a jam or cleanning it. You can also chamber a round without pulling the slide back at all.

Comments about Taurus® Model 22 Handgun:

Good gun all in all. In the beginning it was a little picky on ammo but after 600 rounds or so it will shoot anything I put in it. Even cheap golden bullets(which get a bad rap for some reason, always worked good for me). My self and my wife love this gun. The tip up barrel works great. I gave it 4 stars because of its weight but if it was lighter maybe it wouldn't be as reliable as it is.

Comments about Taurus® Model 22 Handgun:

I've had mine for around 12 years. The only issue is that I have to shoot hi velocity hollow points only. I've put thousands of rounds through it and had very few issues. It's a fun little gun.

Comments about Taurus® Model 22 Handgun:

i own two. one in all blue and one with gold trigger, screws, safety, barrel and clip release. both are atractive but the gold one is more and maybe a little more collectable for show. one thing i have noticed you must keep it oiled well they both tend to show rust or beginning of rust on slide on edges and rear sights rather easy. all off this is on slide it is obviously cheaper or more corrosive metal than rest of weapon.they are lightweight enough yet the grip is thick and contoured to fit most small to medium sized hands. my sister and girlfriend both love the feel of it and it feels very good in my hands also, having average male size hands. great for concealed weapon with unexposed hammer, surprisingly accurate out to 60ft and farther. as with any fixed sight handgun u should fire it several times to feel how it shoots in relation to the sight window. both pieces shot well wind-age (left and right) Taurus did well with the slide being lined up with front blade sight. this makes distance shooting just a matter of fine to full bead and maybe more for longer distances. i shoot at least one of them 1or 2 times a month at least. take plenty of ammo you will not be able to shoot just one clip through it it is fun to shoot and of course cheap to shoot also.
