Known for their line of strong and rugged revolvers, Brazillian manufacturer Taurus produced their own version of the Smith & Wesson Model 10, known in its Taurus form as the Model 80. The Taurus 80 is a six-shot revolver chambered for the .38 special round. It has fixed sights, small hardwood grips, and a heavy 4-inch barrel. Taurus manufactured the Model 80 under contract with Smith & Wesson on repurposed Smith & Wesson machinary, making the Model 80 a handgun that lives up to the lofty standards of both companies. This special commemorative revolver is number 72 of 2,500 made. It features a gold-plated trigger, hammer, cylinder, and saddle ring among other imbellishments and includes a velvet-lined display case. The handgun's grips, its metal, and its bore are all in as new condition.
