      Me and my wife got matching 45, and since 2008 and over 500rd fired thru each no jams no problem, I did replace sights with williams fire sights, and added grip decals, as well as purchasing more MAGS. My wife loves the 45 and its perfect size for her. We are happy with each gun, and will be buying taurus in the future.

        First time at the shooting range I had a FTF within the first 20 rounds. I changed magazines and put another 200 rounds through without issue. I even cycled back in the magazine that had the failure without issue. I was shooting 3 different manufactures defense rounds. Accuracy is good within 20 yards for a micro 45. At 50 yards all my rounds were inside a diner plate. Cleaning the gun isn't any harder than any other gun I have. You won't find another 45 with a 10 rnd cap at this size at this price. Only complaint I have is the sights. I will be swapping them out.

        Had to send it back to Taurus twice. The slide lever has a piece that rides on the inside of the slide. This piece ended up on the outside repeatedly causing a misfire until corrected. Very much a problem with a loaded pistol. Sent it to Taurus the first time, got it back within a week. They claimed they fixed it. I fired 5 rounds with 3 misfires. I sent it back again. (I think I bought a lemon.) Most everybody rave about Taurus products. Been 6 weeks and haven't gotten the pistol back.

          I was sceptic of taurus at first, I bought the gun because of its size, but i wouldnt trade it for nothin. i put 200+ through it....perfect, dead on every shot!

              After 29 yrs. of carrying the "big boy .45 acp", and feeling most comfortable with the .45, this is a very easy weapon to cross over to for ccw carry and more than adequate for the intended purpose.But, just like with any weapon, practice, practice. Performs just great.
