The new Public Defender features a reduced-profile hammer that won't catch when it needs to come out quickly. Features include a rubber grip and Taurus Security System. Fires both .410-ga. 2.5" shotshells and .45 Colt ammunition.

Our exclusive package comes with two grips - a small grip for concealment and a large grip for the range - and a Bulldog case and holster.

              This gun package is perfect. It has the smaller body of the Public Defender and comes with an additional longer grip for my larger hands. Just make sure you allow lots of time when picking up this or any weapon from the store. The associates are not properly trained and the paperwork had to be redone four (4) time before they got it correct. This process took over 1.5 hours to complete. I have my CPL so normally, at a store where they train their associates, I'm in and out in about 15 minutes.

              Bottom line is the gun package is perfect. Gander Mountain needs to train their associates better.

                I own a 72 acre RV park in the woods, great for critters in the woods and personal protection, even with 410 shells in it for snakes I would not want to get shot with it, great all around, in my collection of over 30 guns, I like this best and use the most, might get another to keep in truck
