Comments about Taurus® Model 4510 Judge® Public Defender Revolver:
Even the "poorest" of shooters can hit their target with this firearm. Just point in general direction of the target and shoot. With the .410 4 pellet and shot shells you have excellent groups...!! Much better and easier to handle than a shot gun in close quarters..!!

Comments about Taurus® Model 4510 Judge® Public Defender Revolver:
"The Judge" is a great home defender weapon because, if you miss your target the .410 and .45 rounds will unlikely penetrate a wall minimizing unintented collateral damage.

Q:
what size shot would you recomend for personal defencd in the 410 shell ?Asked on 1/18/2010 by Anonymous5 answers
A:
I would use Buck shot. If it is being used for close range, You probably mean business.Answered on 1/25/2010 by Clint from Lewisburg, PAA:
number 6 would work great big enough to really do damage but small enough to not mess with your bore. 0-0 buck will mess your bore up. if you want a slug use the long colt 45.Answered on 1/31/2010 by zack from clinton, tnA:
I would use number 4 or 6. It is going to give you a good number of pellets and they will be large enough to give you real stopping power. Anything larger ( a smaller number ) will have fewer pellets and will require being a better shot. That is why you also have the option of shooting .45 acp's.Answered on 2/1/2010 by John Big Bubba from Charlotte, NCA:
I came across this new shell/load by Winchester. I am sure that when these are available Gander will carry. To me it appears to be a good load that will have some stopping power when used in close which is where this gun will be used for personal defense.
A descrition follows:
The Winchester PDX1 2.5" .410 gauge round is loaded with three 000 Buckshot sized discs backed by 12 BB sized pellets.
Hope this helps.Answered on 2/1/2010 by John Big Bubba from Charlotte, NCA:
