Comments about TRU Ball TRU Nok Bow Nock<br>:
I bought this after i noticed my original loop was flattening. i wasnt having a problem out of my loop but it was getting old and i really like products from tru ball so i was like, how could it be any worse than what i already have. wrong answer....The nock will hit your rest if you do not have a string decelerator, luckily i do. It is noisy as well, when the caliper opens on your release it makes a clinking sound which is pretty noticeable actually. Initially i had no issues out of it other than the noise, but after getting my bow shop to install me a new peep, i had to take it off to realign it. in the process of tightening it, i broke one of the screws.....You have to overtighten it otherwise it will slide on your string which it will do anyway. I do not reccommend this to anyone, the majority of hunters use string d loops for a reason.

You cannot tighten this enough to keep it from moving up and down after show, or rotating around the string. This thing destroyed my hostage rest. I noticed some chips on my rest after I shot for a while, then after each shot I could see pieced of plastic flying. This thing was hitting my arrow rest after each shot and breaking the plastic. I had to buy a string stop to keep it from hitting my rest.

Comments about TRU Ball TRU Nok Bow Nock<br>:
I purchased this item because the sting loop that I had broke. I wanted something that would last. That would be a pro about the metal loop. Unfortunately it would not tighten down on the bow line. So it would spin and rattle when the bow was fired. The loop would move down the string and had to be relocated after each shot. I took it to an archery shop only to be told that I had put it on correctly and that it would not tighten any further. I was also told that because of the weight of the loop it would change my accuracy with the bow. I would need to re-zero my bow with this unit. Not likely! I changed back to the string loop and had it professionally installed. I works great! A good lesson for me!

Quoting the description: "Crossbar aligns your peep and keeps the TRU Nok straight behind the arrow". Yes, but only when nocked. In my experience these always end up pointing the wrong way when it's time to hook-up. After a few shots the law of inertia causes them to rotate forward on the string, requiring the shooter to turn them back towards the rear to nock the next arrow. "Easy to load..."?? Easier than what?
Problem number two is the peep sight doesn't stay in rotational alignment with it, since it is attached so it can't follow suite. I admit I used the type which has FOUR screws, and it would STILL slip around the string. With only two screws I doubt if these are any better. The ever popular string loops do the same thing. How so many archers make these work is beyond me. Much easier to use the T.R.U. Speed Nok with peep aligner and a cushion nokset between release and nock. That's what I came here to buy, but since Gander doesn't seem to have them....good-bye.
