Comments about SureFire G2 Nitrolon Flashlight:
This was my first Surefire flashlight. I loved it right away, and it is still a good light. Easy pocket carry, the Nitrolon body is light enough that you can forget it is tucked away in your pocket. I have since bought an E1L and U2 Ultra, both of which are LED lights. I admit that I use my G2 much less now than initially. While 65 lumens of incandenscent light is pretty bright, it pales in comparison with the blinding white light from even my 15 lumen E1L (old model before the upgraded head). I do still use it in my hunting pack as I have color filters for various uses to fit it. Good light at a resonable price though.

i need to find a good light that has dif.. heads like green red and blue. is this a good light? is it strong?Asked on 12/2/2008 by porcupine from gettysburg..pa2 answers
A:
You can buy filters that fit this light from either Surefire or the head size is close enough to some other brands that the filters will fit (that is what I did and saved a few bucks). A blue filter for blood tracking will definately decrease the potency of this light, but both red and green are still pretty bright. Overall this is a very good flashlight from a fantastic manufacturer with great customer service.Answered on 1/15/2009 by JRHunter from Madison, WIA:
I own a Browning Black Ice that has a red light, purple light, the regular flashlight and the white Xenon light but it does not have a green light.Answered on 10/19/2009 by JGR from North Little Rock, AR
