Product Description
surefire EP3 Sonic Defenders protect your hearing without interfering with your ability to hear routine sounds or conversations. Double-flange stem design fits most people and provides a Noise Reduction Rating of 16dB. Sounds, at safe levels, are allowed to pass through into the ear canal, while noises above 85dB are greatly reduced via the patented Hocks Noise Braker filter. EP3s include attached stopper plugs, which can be inserted to block out lower-level noise in situations where hearing ambient sounds or conversations isn't critical. Right/left color-coded and made from a soft but durable, hypoallergenic polymer. Ergonomically shaped, with an adjustable-stem design, to provide a secure fit, all-day comfort, and extended product life. Low-profile design means they can be worn while wearing a helmet or mask or while using a phone or headset.

Sizing
Measure the distance from the top to the bottom of your ear's Helix Bowl to determine which size will best fit your ear.

Medium = 1"
Large = 1 1/8"

For more comfort the earpieces can be adjusted by trimming the helix portion, and the stem position (slide out) can also be adjusted.

    Works really well. I didn't know if it would work for gun blasts. Tried it out and made my muzzelloader sound like a bb gun. Works good for hunting with partners because you can hear conversations while providing ear protection. For the price you can't go wrong. A lot cheaper than the electronic ear muffs and they are not bulky like ear muffs.

        I bought these to use on the range and on hunting trips. It is illegal to use electronic muffs that magnify sound while hunting in my area. These allow me to have hearing protection that I can still hear while wearing and it cancels out the blast while shooting. I have previously used these in tactical situations and they work great for close quaters shooting inside barriers and building. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Would highly recommend them.
