Comments about Winchester Supreme Partition Gold Sabot Slug, 20ga:
Amazing been shooting this slug for years now and lets say ive never had a single deer move after the shot. Its boom and down they go! And from ranges of 10 to 200 yards always perfect partition reliability.I shoot these slugs out of a 20ga ultra slug and have tried every slug possible.the only slug that even came somewhat close was the sst but after shooting a deer with them upon inspection i noticed that the sst never expanded and it was a text book shot right behind the shoulder plus the deer ran over a 100 yards with very little blood trail. My buddy was so impressed with the partitions and their effectiveness on game he started shooting them out of his moossberg this past season. He managed to get a shot on a big doe during the hunting season and lets say that the shot was less than perfect. He got the jitters ! But anyways he hit the deer in the right rump and the bullet traveled all the way through the entire lenght of the deer lodging itself in the left jaw bone. After skinning the deer out we recovered the partition , perfect mushroom only thing missing was the lead in the nose! Now hows that for penetration. Give these partitions a try you wont be disappointed ! Especially if you want 1 shot humane kills! Good luck to everyone and be safe!!!

Comments about Winchester Supreme Partition Gold Sabot Slug, 20ga:
Very accurate slug, with my Thompson Center Encore it shoots a ragged hole at 100-125 yds. Of course this is achieved with the aid of a benchrest, and swabbing between shots for accuracy. This round will no doubt be quite lethal for whitetails. I've hunted with a 12 gauge for the better part of 45 yrs., and have stepped down to the 20 ga. because of recoil issues. I find that with a relatively light weight shotgun, and the modern ammo of today, with it's high velocity of around 2000 f.p.s., there's a bunch of muzzle blast and it's down right uncomfortable. So this season, I've gone to the 20 ga., and have put a ton of ammo through the T/C, and it prefers by far the Partition Gold Slugs. My shooting was done with a Sinclair Competition Rest, with a leather Protector bag under the stock. Gander Mt. has very good prices on their ammo, which I ordered on-line[...].

Comments about Winchester Supreme Partition Gold Sabot Slug, 20ga:
This ammo does everything they say and then some! For real! I heart shot a deer at 100 yrds. and it passed threw the rib cage took out the whole top of the heart and totally devastated the internals. The deer did a slow trott about 30 yrds and layed right down with in sight. No tracking with a well placed shot and one of these rounds!

Comments about Winchester Supreme Partition Gold Sabot Slug, 20ga:
I use this 20ga ammo in a TC encore. My daughter has fired 1 shot at each of two deer and I have fired one shot at each of 3 deer with this ammo. All 5 were dead within 50 yards and two folded up right where they stood. If you put these on target you will have a dead deer.
Only down side is that it is sometimes hard to find this in 20 ga so plan ahead to buy yours.
