I bought the 30 lb version of Sufix 832 for my bait casting rig that I use for hauling bass out of milfoil and coontail. Despite line color fading and thousands of casts, Sufix 832 held up extremely well. It has not diminished in casting performance and has become my "go to" line for frogging especially in lilly pads. I am surprised how tough it is. I recently landed several northern pike up to 27" on this line using spinner baits with no wire leader with no break offs!

This is a very tough line. I have never had a fish break off of it. However,I will never buy 832 again. The mossy green color turned white after a month of regular use. The line also starts to fray at the end of the knots after a few fish. Powerpro is cheaper and in my opinion, an overall better line.

Comments about Sufix 832 Advanced Superline:
This is good line. I use it in 80 lb for muskies and 20 lb on a walleye crank/stickbait rod. It casts and handles well in both applications. I did get a couple wind knots on the walleye rod but so far that seems to happen when casting very light stickbaits into wind with every line I've used. This line has not done it as much as the Powerpro I tried years ago.

Switched from Power Pro to Suffix 832 and I'm not looking back. Same strength but smoother finish on the line. Casts much smoother.

Comments about Sufix 832 Advanced Superline:
Spooled this on my bait caster. Now casts are smoother and longer. Less noise while rubbing through the eyelets on a tight line.
