At first I was a little skeptical going with the new Solo engine but after one full year of use, I couldn't be happier. It runs just as great as my buddy's Tecumseh. It always starts on the second pull. I did run into one issue twice, the engine would bog down like it wasn't getting fuel. With it running, I loosened the gas cap and re-tightened. This model has the internal venting, My only guess was that it was from bouncing around in the truck. For the price point when they go on sale, you can't beat it. I got mine for [$]. Any improvements? Electric start would be cool.....
