      I have not had the change to try rhis color yet. The other shad colors work great. I use this lure as a subsurface and deep fishing. I rig these with either a 1/8 or 3/8 once jig head. They have great action with these. They are somewhat fragile but they do catch fish.

                any good sports store should have a good weighted hook that would work.The 3.5 I would use a 4/0 hook.Hope this helps you.
