      I'm primarily a bass fisherman here in AL. I rigged the bait weedless with no weight. After casting and letting it drop for a few seconds, I just give it a little twitch. Great action. The bass hit it hard and don't let go! Like everyone else has said, they tear apart after a couple hard strikes. I complain about the bait being soft but I also think it helps in setting the hook.

            I use this bait on a 1/8 or 1/4 ounce jig with an extra long hook. I cast it out and let it sink about 5 seconds and then start a slow steady retrieve stopping and starting it at times. I let the fish tell me how they want it. This bait is really deadly when fish are chasing shad. It can also be used Texas style, Carolina style or without a weight. My favorite color is Bling Bling. It also is deadly on redfish and speckle trout. The only thing I found wrong with this bait is that it is really soft. After a couple of fish you have to rerigg it but you can shorten the bait and it still works well. I really like this bait and reccomend it to all fishermen

              I used this as a soft jerk bait on the clear fresh waters I fish in SC. The bass seemed to hold on to it well once they got it. I think it has to do with the smell/taste of it. It smells like a cup of coffee. It's a lot thicker than a super fluke, but it's very soft and has good action in the water.
