Shock-proof aircraft aluminum body features an unbreakable polycarbonate lens and a rubber push-button tailcap switch. Internal polymer body liner and shock-proof switch housing allow for operation under the most extreme conditions. Constructed using Type II Mil-Spec abrasion and corrosion-resistant anodization. O-ring sealed and IPX4 rated for water-resistant operation. Includes belt holster and unbreakable pocket clip. Operates on two AAA alkaline batteries (included). Limited lifetime warranty.       The Streamlight Sylus Pro LED is a bright, powerful light in a handy size. The hard anodized aluminum body is strong and capable of surviving the everyday blows of hard use. The lens is well protected and the light itself throws an impressive beam. I use it everyday for work inspecting complex computer hardware and also find it a vital tool while participating in outdoor pursuits or just surviving a superstorm like Sandy. The push button switch is a bit stiff but, hopefully, this will become easier with use. The light is no thicker then a good fountain pen but much longer; the strong spring clip fastens securely to a shirt pocket but must be postioned at an angle due to the light's excessive length. This Streamlight takes two AAA batteries making it convenient and relatively inexpensive to replenish.
