stoeger The affordable Stoeger Uplander double shotgun is based on a traditional English design that has enjoyed renewed popularity in recent years. All Stoeger Uplander models feature a tang-mounted safety that automatically engages when the gun is broken open. The Uplander's receiver is precision machined to exacting tolerances to ensure that the Uplander will hold up year after year, no matter how much it's used. The standard version of the Uplander is built on an A-grade satin walnut stock with extractors, a traditional double trigger, and brass bead sights. The 20-gauge Uplander includes modified and improved cylinder screw-in choke tubes.

      Like the gun very much. Will be using it for rabbit hunting in the thick brush. The cost makes it so that I won't be upset if it gets a scratch on it. I was however disappointed with my local Gander Mtn. I have always been under the assumption that they would price match. I went in and they were fifty dollars more than [@]. When I pointed this out to them they stated that unless I had proof the price would not change. I advised them they could look it up online. They refused to do so and didn't seem to care when I said that I would buy the gun elsewhere. I took my business to Dunhams and bought the gun for fifty dollars less. This is a shame since I have done so much business with them on guns in the past. If you would like this gun I suggest [@]. Maybe then Gander Mtn. will begin to value their customers.

        I use my 16ga SxS for early deer hunting. I keep 00 buck on one side & slug on the other! Highly Recommend this gun for someone on a budget, but wants a high quality shotgun. I plan to buy a 410 SxS, if I can find one! KR, SGM(R) US Army

          I got it in the 12Ga, and it is everything I thought it would be. Worth every penny. This is the working mans Double Barrel. Ive used it to shoot trap and it functions great.
