Product Description
The Stingray Stealth 2 is the world's first and only dual angle hydrofoil. This allows boaters to experience optimal performance at all throttle ranges. At lower speeds the hydrofoil utilizes the inner angle, while at higher throttle ranges, the Stealth 2 uses its wing tips to maintain consistent, impressive performance. Plus, a fast-finish lowers hydrodynamic drag dramatically. Hidden, no-drill attachment for quick installation. Great for boaters who want to plane in half the time, reduce bow rise, stop cavitation, and increase fuel efficiency.

Comments about StingRay Stealth 2 Hydrofoil Stabilizer, Black:

This is my second Stingray hydrofloil installed on as many boats. The new design allows for installing without drilling holes in stern drive. This is accomplished by the installation of a stainless steel strap that connects the forward underside of wing that is secured with two of the four set screws that anchor through the two 90 degree tabs. This is the area to inspect before installing for radius cracking in the corner of bends. The turbulance created by the propeller can cause the stainless strap to break if the strap has any defects in manufacturing causing damage to propeller. Once this area is addressed by Stingray the product perfoms mostly as advertised. In my case I observed a 1 MPG decrease in speed at same RPM setting. However, this is not a bad trade off considering the quick planing.

Comments about StingRay Stealth 2 Hydrofoil Stabilizer, Black:

I followed installation instructions to the letter took my boat out first time. The stainless strap broke at the 90 degree bend and chewed up the leading edge of my stainless prop.Overton's is letting me return the product for a refund but prop repair is on me. I have had StingRay products on prior boats and have had no problems. This will be my last, I don't own a prop shop.
