Product DescriptionThe unique high-rake, progressive pitch configuration is designed to help most boats achieve their best overall performance at all throttle levels;low end, mid-range and top end. Manufactured using a durable 15-5 ph one piece stainless steel casting, then polished to a gleaming mirror-like finish. They are backed by a limited lifetime blade failure warranty. Your prop is one of the essential links between your boat and the water. Please carefully choose the Stiletto prop that will best suit your application. Mercury/Mariner/Force O/B: In-line 4 & 6 cylinder, 71.1 C.I.D. (1165cc) 3 cylinder, Magnum II, III & XR-4, XR-6, Force '95 & later, 90 hp, 120 hp O/B's. For the Stiletto props above with the first digits of "ST113" - use Quicksilver #13191A1 thrust washer (Overton's part #24221). Important: These recommendations are for single engine installations only. For most twin engine installations, it is necessary to increase the pitch by 4". Warning: Due to the performance enhancing nature of the design, Quicksilver Trim Tab No. 46399A1 or AP 4004 (Overton's part #38459) MUST be used to avoid damage and/or injury. Exception: W/ Mariner Magnum II and Mercury XR-4 O/B's, use Quicksilver Anode Plate No. 15300 or equivalent. Note: 1997 and newer Mercury/Mariner O/B with 150hp plus or any Mercruiser I/O will need an aft washer (Overton's part #23395) for proper installation.

Q:I bought this prop. When I installed it, I have very, very little clearance between the prop blades and the trim tab anode. The motor is a 2003 Yamaha 90hp 2-stroke. It does not rub, but its very close. Can you tell me what I should do. Thank you very much.Asked on 5/24/2009 by Sonny from Laplace, La.
A:If the prop can make full revolutions it should be ok to run like that. Sometimes the diameter of the blades does come very close to the trim tabAnswered on 1/28/2011 by Technician from Overton's
