Comments about Savage Arms Stevens Model 200 Action Short Centerfire Rifle:

this is a great budget gun! it is very accurate out of the box. smoothest bolt throw of the "budget" rifles i handled. there alot of after market parts available for it as well. it is built by one of the great gun makers known today! it is not a cheapend version of savage like the remingtons. i would recommend it to anyone looking for a good project gun or a feild gun. i will mostly use it for varmit hunting and think it will do great! my biggest complaint is the trigger, it is tight but a good custom trigger is less than 100$ if you desire to change it.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
