I used this product on a 10-day backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail. It is very easy to use. I like the fact that it only takes about 90 seconds to purify a liter of water.

You should remember not to 'scoop' water into your water bottle, but use a separate dipper and funnel since you cannot purify the water on the rim.
