Read about this stuff from an interview with the Starbrite CEO/President and he explained why this product was better than wax. Everything he said was true. It lasts longer and it doesn't "yellow" like wax. When I used wax on the gel coat of my Rinker 232, I'd get a yellowish/brown line from the waterline down. No more. I polish with Starbrite with PTEF once in the spring and I spray it with a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar before wiping it down when trailering. River grime comes right off and my boat looks "just waxed" all summer long, with no water spots...and my accent gel coat is black. I won't use anything else.
