Product DescriptionAll the great features of the HX370S, plus an intrinsically safe NiCd battery and certified to be used in hazardous environments. This submersible 5-watt marine handheld VHF has been approved for use in intrinsically safe environments and built to withstand the day-in day-out punishment of hostile commercial environments. Capable of submersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes (JIS7). Also features 40 programmable Land Mobile Channels with CTCSS or DCS signaling (appropriate license required).
The HX370SAS has an enormous LCD window with very easy-to-read digits and bold information flags, including a battery "gas" gauge indicating battery time remaining. The heart of the radio is a Standard Horizon transceiver that flawlessly delivers all U.S., Canadian, and international channels; dedicated one-button access to WX; instant access to channels 9 and 16; programmable scanning; and dual-watch capability with channel 16 priority. The HX370SAS even has a built-in SOS signal with a high-intensity strobe light that can be seen at night over a mile away. Comes complete with rechargeable battery pack and drop-in charger. 4.8"H x 2.3"W x 1.2"D. Three-year warranty.
