Q:can the "beep" that sounds when entering keypad unlock digits be disabled like it can in the more portable versions of stack-on safes? if so, how do i do this?Asked on 1/2/2013 by Anonymous
Q:- How does the lid open, is it spring loaded?
- Can you mount the box on a wall above a shelf?Asked on 3/28/2010 by Anonymous
A:The lid opens by the turn of a knob to release bolts, and then just lift door by another knob (no springs). There are two holes in the bottom of the box. You can screw or bolt from the inside, out. Would need heavy duty anchors, or mount vertically to stud, seeing as how the box isn't 16 inches long (stud spacing).Answered on 4/3/2010 by Safe in the Zoo from Kalamazoo, MI.

Q:How do you take off the removable front panel to get to where the key goes in?Asked on 12/20/2009 by Sara from PA
A:Hi Sara, you need to remove the silver plastic piece that says Stack-On on the top of the safe. It's to the left of the key pad. I just used my nails and it pops off, but you could also use a small flat head screw driver if you can't get it. Hope that helps, KellyAnswered on 12/26/2009 by KellyPA from Pittsburgh, PA

A:Thanks for the answer. I asked the question and decided to buy it anyways. it does fit a S&W 40 and a midsize 9mm and 2 clips. snug and no holsters. i'd recommend this box.Answered on 4/15/2009 by Anonymous from Florida
A:It may hold two small to medium size pistolsAnswered on 6/11/2009 by Safety minded from Richmond, VA
A:It might, but probably not without them touching or overlapping. Would probably make it difficult to get them out quickly too. A handgun and cash (like shown) fits well, though.Answered on 6/16/2009 by Brian from Harrisburg, PA
