Product Description
stackon Protect your firearm and valuables using Stack-On's Drawer Safe with an easy to program biometric lock. Tested and listed as a California DOJ Firearm Safety Device. Solid steel, pry-resistant door has concealed hinges and 2 steel live action locking bolts. Biometric lock can be programmed to accept up to 32 different fingerprints, providing greater security and quicker access to the safe's contents. Includes a backup trouble key. Gas lift on the door that pops the lid up when the locking bolts are released and holds the lid in place when open. Egg crate foam padded bottom. Pre-drilled holes for mounting to floor or shelf. Includes fastening hardware. Contents not included.

        I have to use a shoe horn to open the door on this safe. I have tried using WD-40 on the piston and door lock to no avail. I'll be dead by the time I get the door open if there'a a intruder in the house, because of the poor performance of the door. The Bio-metric and number key pad open the bolts just fine. The door won't release.

          Great Product, the Bio reader is very easy to set up and use, is also very quick to open. Safe is larger than I was expecting, plenty of room for two pistols. Would be nice if a cable tether was included. Very happy with the product, functionality and at a reasonable price!

                I ended up returning two of these safes. I was intending to use it as a quick-access safe for my home defense handgun, but soon found out it was not reliable. I carefully read and understood the directions to program the finger print scanner and key pad access functions; and each time the electronic functions permanently locked out/malfunctioned. Even after removing the batteries allowing the system to reset on both safes; the system continued to not allow me to use the scanner or key pad. The only way to access the safe was to use the key. Shame on YOU once, shame on ME twice. I am not buying a third one to test my theory that these are not reliable safes for quick-access use.

                      I purchased one of these last week and got home to discover that the door stuck in the closed position and was very, very difficult to get open when the lock was opened. I took it back and at the store, a key broke off in the lock on the next one we tried. The 3rd opened easily, but after arriving home I discovered the electronics would not function properly and it would not accept a fingerprint, These are absolute junk.

                        Great way to secure defensive pistol. Biometric lock opens on 30 different fingerprint combos. Also has digital key pad or turn key interfaces. Uses two AA batteries to power scanner and digital keypad. Opens with keys to replace batteries.

                        Put it next to your bed, roll over, hit fingerprint scanner, grab your gun. Finally somebody's got it right.
