    The unit is as advertised. I will use it in my house and car...the unit is versatile. I like the 4 button key pad that allows you to access the save in the dark if needed. The unit comes with a separate mount that the safe is then mounted to with a single thumbscrew.

                  Joepro,

                  The code must be four digits long and the device only has four keys (1-4). With practice you could have it open in less than 10 seconds. I personally can open mine and have my hand on my gun in 5 seconds while in the dark. I hope this info answers your questions.
