Product Description
stackon Hold multiple rifles and shotguns safely and with peace of mind with this gun safe. Three live-action locking bolts and two steel deadbolts provide five separate locking points. Solid-steel, pry-resistant door with concealed hinges provides greater security. Features Stack-On's patented barrel rests and standoffs with fully carpeted interior for storing scoped rifles. A two-tray organizer provides extra space for storing ammo, cleaning supplies, maps, licenses, and more. Sturdy hooks let you hang additional gear. Removable, carpeted shelf offers convenient storage in the back of the unit, so longer guns can be stored in the front along the side walls.

Holds 16 rifles and shotguns. Electronic lock includes operational lights for open, low-battery warning, and incorrect entry. Time-out period after three incorrect attempts for security. Drill-resistant hardened steel plate behind the lock for increased security. Batteries are easily accessible from the front of the safe. Comes with trouble key. Black epoxy paint finish with Gold accents on exterior. Not recommended for storing CDs or other electronic storage devices. Shelf dimensions: 20"W x 7.9"D.     I bought this over the green combination lock version as I wanted something that could be easily accessed, rapidly. The electronic lock opens in a heartbeat. I have this next to my bed in my apartment building, so not only does it fill the role of storing my rifles, ammunition, gear, etc., it easily fills out the roll of home protection storage. You can easily install peg board on the inside of the door and mount rubber hangers for pistols. [...] Great value for an apartment safe.

    This is a locking gun cabinet rather than a safe. If the scope extensions are added to the rack area closest to the door, they interfere with closure. A lot of my guns have barrels that are too short to reach the rack and had to be placed on risers to work. The inside finish and carpet screams cheap. I plan on adding a fireproof door gasket and more padding in the bottom area.

          I bought this for the influx of weapons at my house. The safe is not bad. A couple of issues is the battery compartment is screwed in, which means that if the batteries die, you need a screwdriver to replace them or the keys nearby to gain access. That in and of itself is not bad, but to get the key in, you need to remove the decorative rubber that's concealing the key hole beforehand. Otherwise it will take you a few minutes to get to your guns. The door is lighter than I thought it would be. It'll still take effort to get into the safe, but I was hopeing for a slightly heavier frame (I know it's a 200 pound safe, but I misjudged how that weight was allocated). Still, overall it's not a bad safe for excess weapons. Just know what you are getting and do some prior planning when placing it.
