Comments about St. Croix Triumph Spinning Rod, 56", Ultra-Light:

This is related to the 5'6" UL Triumph 2 piece. Friend bought one - it broke before being used - just shaking the rod to test flexibility after it was pulled from the box. He exchanged - rod broke the first time in use fighting a fish. I bought one. It broke the first time used. All 3 broke in the same place. (broke at the 2nd eyelet from the bottom)

Quality of the Triumph is in question.
