Product Description
spypoint The Spypoint G4 Game Camera and PV-2.4 4 MP Digital Camera Picture Viewer have all the features you need for scouting game and viewing your results. The G4's multi-shot setting takes 4-megapixel color photos in 4-photo bursts by day and bright 35-infrared LED black-and-white photos at night. Remove the internal camera and switch to the video camera setting to record video footage of your hunt. At only 4.5" x 6.8" x 2.8", the G4 is easy to set up anywhere. The G4 runs on 6 AA batteries or a rechargeable Lithium battery pack (not included). Date and time stamp automatically printed on each photo. Includes 12V power jack. Store footage from the G4 on removable SD/SDHC cards as large as 32 GB (not included), then view them using the included PV-2.4 4MP digital camera picture viewer. Large 2.4" color viewing screen, MP3/MP4 playback, radio, sound recording, and 1GB internal memory. The PV-2.4 Viewer comes with headphones, USB cable, rechargeable lithium battery, and AC charger.

    After researching I suggested this game camera for family gift. Wondered if I made right choice for them. MAN DID I! Live in SW VA, family owns property near us, they let me use it on our place and their land. Turkey, Bear, deer, even a ground hog set this thing off - from 40 yards! Listen it takes great HQ pics, one 4GB disk held over 3,000 shots; yeah 3,000! Fog, day, night, rain, no problem. I'll try to add a couple images to this review. My 'only' con, not even the price, because the spare field viewer is worth $, no only con is that it may be too sensitive. Of the 3,000+ pics I had to wade thru a few hundred 'no animal' images. My thought is I haven't got the settings right, who reads manuals, or they are just to left or right of lens and camera firing. Minor issue, Buy it, buy three! I have no association with company, I just like telling folks when someone 'finally' makes a quality product. Oh yeah! Battery Life, 24/7 for lets say 6 months...how's that work for ya?! If I owned 12 they'd be scattered everywhere, it would be like a part-time job! I wish I could add more pics, limited to two. But gives example of day/night shot. But your missing amazing images of deer and turkey, can count feathers and hair on their back.

      I have had the spypoint G4 for over a year ( 7/2011 ) still have the same 6 AA batteries in it and it still shows full charge. Over 2500 pics. Real good day time and good nite pics.

            The camera is excellent. Easy to set up and use, and takes nice pictures. It does a good job. The viewer leaves something to be desired. The controls are difficult to operate, and pictures are tiny and hard to see, especially for an older person. All in all, it is a good product that I would recommend. The camera is top-of-the-line!!!

                Looking to possibly use this for home security. Does the delays mean that it doesn't actually start to take a picture until after the amount of time you set it too? So, would it be true, if it was set for one minute, a robber could potentially grab something out of the yard and be gone before it even takes a pic? Thanks.
