Product Description
springfield The Sub-Compact XD pistol is the ultimate in self-defense firearms, the shortest carry polymer pistol in the world. The XD Sub-Compact also features the only light rail in its class. The XD's legendary Point and Shoot Ergonomics combines natural pointability with a compact, contoured polymer grip, creating an instrument that feels more like a natural extension of your body than an object in your hand. The loaded chamber indicator allows the shooter to verify visually or by touch that there is a round in the chamber. The Ultra Safety Assurance Trigger System guards against accidental discharge from dropping or bumping by locking the XD's trigger in place until direct, rearward pressure is applied. A grip safety allows the XD to fire only when the shooter has a firm grip on the pistol. Includes an XD gear package. Fired casing included.

      Bought this for home/personal protection. Take my sons to the range and teaching them to shoot with it so they will be familiar and confident when they are able to purchase and carry. Smooth operating and able to rapidly recover on target after each shot. I Like the versitality of compact mag and extended mag. Prefer the compact mag and carry conceal so not to bring attention to myself when carrying. Only problem is holster causes printing and I am looking for an after market holster that would be more snug or an inside the waistline holster to accomodate the conceal better. Great light weight but sturdy for carrying. Fired over 300 rounds already no malfunctions, completely reliable every shot!

        Have had many fun range trips with my Glock, but my XD 9 just feels better in my hand and even feels like it fires smoother for me. Over 1000 rounds fired with my XD with no issues. If you are in the market for a concealed handgun, just put this Springfield XD in your hand and compare it to a Glock and pick the one that feels best to you. Both fire great, but I love my XD 9!

          This gun is great. The extended clip makes the gun feel like a full size 9MM in a sub-compact frame with a high capacity clip. 300 rounds fired at the range and no miss fires or jams.
