Product Description

The Sub-Compact XD pistol is the ultimate in self-defense firearms, the shortest carry polymer pistol in the world. The XD Sub-Compact also features the only light rail in its class. The XD's legendary Point and Shoot Ergonomics combines natural pointability with a compact, contoured polymer grip, creating an instrument that feels more like a natural extension of your body than an object in your hand. The loaded chamber indicator allows the shooter to verify visually or by touch that there is a round in the chamber. The Ultra Safety Assurance Trigger System guards against accidental discharge from dropping or bumping by locking the XD's trigger in place until direct, rearward pressure is applied. A grip safety allows the XD to fire only when the shooter has a firm grip on the pistol. Includes an XD gear package with two high-capacity magazines.

Comments about Springfield XD Sub-Compact Handgun:

This is a great pistol. I've run around 300 rounds through it of any brand I can find and I've never had any problems.
It's small, and conceals great even with a pinky extension.
I recommend this over the glock because of the functional grip safety. Never had a problem with automatically pressing the grip safety either. It takes no thought.
