    I was looking for a home defense weapon that not only I can use but my wife as well. I picked up a .40 S&W version and found this a great controlable firearm for both of us. I was expecting recoil issues (because of the short barrel) for my wife but she was able to keep the muzzle pointed at the target during 3-shot rapid fire.

    I've shot 1500 rounds without any malfunction!! Quality of ammo for accuracy does make a big difference. Hornady "Critical Defense" HP was my prefered choice.

    Changing the grip size required a punch (not supplied). Disassembly for cleaning is so much easier compaired to a 1911 or Berretta M9 I used in the Army.

      I have had this gun for about 2 months and it is a pleasure to shoot.16rd High cap. magazines makes it nice at the range and Springfield had a special for 3 free extra magazines.So now I have five mags for it,nice.
      Really like the grip and feel of this gun as well as the melonite finish, very durable.

        I love everything about this gun! I have put several thousands of rounds through it and it has only jammed twice!!!!! This gun is Incredible!!!
