    The xdM is just great all round. Comes with a great case, 2 19 round mags, cleaning brush, holster for gun and mags. It would be nice if other manufactures did this. I have over a thousand rounds of trigger time on this one and have yet to see a jam of any kind. By far the fastest and easiest firearm i have ever had to clean. Takes about 500 round to break in but after that you can put rounds in the same hole again and again. This pistol has removable back straps which are nice but you need to buy a 3/16 punch to change them. It would be nice if Springfield included one but i guess you just cant get everything right.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      this is bar none the best 9mm poly pistols out there. better than glock, sig, ruger,and it even beats out my beloved 92fs beretta. the trigger and barrel are great. the safety is great but they do not get in the way. the service pistol size(4.5") have a good feel. field strips are easy. lots of cool stuff from springfield makes it a great package. multiple grip sizes are available. trijicon night sights are available as are fiber optic sights. it is not the cheapest but it is quite possibly the best pistol i have shot in very recent memory.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
